Hey Friends! James and I are home from Tallahassee and just got on line. Stopped over for a while in Leesburg to visit family, then timed it just right to hit the tail end of rush hour in Tampa!:(

What a great time we had yesterday. Was a busy day which started with me testifying at the FL House Committee Hearing on the Education Bill. The bill did pass through committee and goes to the full House sometime this coming week. The Senate version passed. :)

We had great speakers and super great music from Michael and his band of patriots from Miami. Love you guys and your music too! Awesome! And anyone who was there felt the same way, I am sure!

Great pictures, AnyStreetFL! Any you caught that real windy look when that cold front moved into Tallahassee! :) Kind of cool here in St.Pete tonight too! But our great Sunshine State always comes back with warmer weather. Heard tomorrow will get up to 80.:)

seekthetruth, Citizens Property is going through the legislature to increase by 24% to homeowners. This is not a good time for Fla property owners. Why the tea party wants to screw its own supporters is beyond me.

I don't live in a flood zone but a Republican and the tea party is fixing to SOAK me good. KILL THIS INCREASE. Sorry, tea partiers, are you with Citizens Property Insurance or with the property tax payers/homeowners??????

What's the tea party got to gain from Citizens? What's the back story?

Sorry we missed meeting you. The Manatee Teaps took our place on the steps. (We were the ones with the big Gadsden flag and the dachshund). Hubby didn't bring his jacket and nearly froze so we left early. We did hear speeches and the band.....great day!!
