There are no conservatives who think that.
Preposterous.

I view Liberals the same way I view Jihadist Muslims and drug cartels.
The enemy.

Maybe their mother’s taught them to try to see the good in people.
PS - Bill O’Reilly is NOT a conservative.

'Cause if they get too strident, they'll lose their cushy TV jobs.
Television is a "cool" medium, remember? Brutal honesty doesn't work well on TV. Of course, another factor is that, when people sit down to watch TV, they want to escape reality. Projecting reality on TV, especially about people who want to kill you, your family, your way of life, and your country, is just too upsetting.

It’s a form of denial. Also it’s easier to attribute to incompetance what is probably in truth completely deliberate.

the left is hellbent on destroying America as we know it? Its not like its a far-out conspiracy theory. Its a well documented ongoing process. Will John Boehner ever figure this out? He seems hellbent on compromising and enabling more legislative trickery by his Dem pals.

OReilly is merely a sellout. Medved is a passable movie critic. That's about it.

Excellent question. Note to everyone: They aren’t. Period. Obama is a Muslim; of that I am convinced and a stinking liar to boot. End of story.

Good post. People want TV to take them to a ‘happy place’. It’s like junk food for the mind. Any unpleasantness that intrudes into the family room will be met with a swift click on the remote.

O’Reillly, Beck, Coulter, Medved, Hewitt, Boortz, Ingraham and a few others are anti-birthers. Stooges for Fox Al Waleed TV.

Why is it so hard for these simple minded conservatives to realize that Obama is a hard core communists trained Muslim. He, with the help of the communists party (formally the Democratic Party) have destroyed much of America and many never recover.
To: Michael van der Galien
You have to have some kind of filter. When you automatically assume that all the things you want to believe about people on the other side of a controversy are true, you start to part company with reality.
You have to sift through those things you want to believe to see which are supported by evidence and which aren't -- what's really likely to be true and what isn't. Some of the things one dreams up certainly may be true. Others not so much.

Aw, shouldn't ya' just find out who's going to be on the next Dancing with the Stars, and which Idol contestant sneezed yesterday?

Seriously, do you think anyone who is going to ask the tough questions is going to be allowed on TV?

Good question. They’re crooks.

I disagree, I see it here on FR all the time. Mostly in religious comments about things 0 is doing. The “Christian” attitude and turn the other cheek stuff. They really need to wake up.
To: Michael van der Galien
I would never accuse O’Reilly of being conservative or acting in good faith.
As for Medved, I haven’t paid much attention to him since I heard him say “films are nourishing”. Don’t wanna listen to anyone who might make be barf at any moment.
