I went into TV, not newspapers, because as a tweedy old journalism prof was so tasteless to point out, “Young man, I suggest you pursue a career in radio or even the wasteland of television, instead of the much more important printed press, because...... you can't spell!”

I'm cooling off. It's just a good story and wanted FR to have it first. Sentinel and reporter are now circling wagons to try to minimize criticism of failure to report the story.
