The Coupon Whisperer: FREE Air Wick Freshmatic Starter Kits
The Coupon Whisperer ^ | April 4, 2011 | P.J. Gladnick

If you live in the Southeast, you're in luck for the next couple of weeks. Why? Because you can score FREE Air Wick Freshmatic Starter Kits at Publix. How? Simple. The Air Wick Freshmatic Starter Kits are all on sale for just $5.99 until April 15. Simply combine a $3 Publix store coupon for any Air Wick Freshmatic Starter Kit found in their "One Stop. One Store" booklet with the $4 off any Air Wick Freshmatic Starter Kit manufacturer's coupon and you will score your Air Wicks for FREE plus a $1.01 MM. And if you are wondering what "MM" is then Google that info because it doesn't stand for M&Ms in this case.

What is great about this deal is that it includes both the compact and the larger Ultra Air Wick Freshmatic Starter Kits. I picked up several of the motion detector (batteries included) Air Wick Ultra Freshmatic Starter Kits for FREE (plus a $1.01 MM for each).

Remember my speculation about Ken's Marinade possibly going BOGO soon due to the recent $1 manufacturer's coupons being issued? Well, starting this Thursday Publix will have Ken's Marinade BOGO at $2.99 so with this coupon you can score each bottle for just 50 cents each. I plan to stock up with about 40 bottles since my stockpile from last summer recently ran out.

I’m not moving to the southeast...I don’t care how good the deal is, LOL. Dh just landed the job in SE Ohio in November, so we need to stick with that one awhile ;)

Last week I was paid to take some Colgate from Walgreens. I had two coupons (one $1 and the other $1.50) that allowed me to get those for nothing after RR. Got some more today with the $2.99 Colgate w/the $2.99 RR and a 75 cent coupon.

I have built up a good supply of body wash, deodorant, and hair care stuff just in the last week of using RR and coupons for free or very little cost. Scored $13 in RR today and am going to use it for some razors for me (dh got his today for about free—normally about $12 retail). I think the people in line behind me today got tired of waiting for my BOGO coupons and RR to be deducted from my purchase, but the cashier was impressed with my savings :)

Was at WalMart Neighborhood Market last week and found the Finish automatic dishwasher detergent dispenses for $2 each (normally $9.47 apiece). I cleaned out the four they had left. That’s 48 washes, and since we’re moving in less than two months, I am stocked until moving day.

Maybe not getting everything for free or close to it yet, but baby steps...will be watching the TLC ‘Extreme Couponing’ series on Wednesday!

Thanks! Even my husband was impressed. My 12 y.o. daughter was watching me go through the Walgreens ad last night, coupons in my other hand, and as she left the room to go to bed, she said ‘good luck.’ LOL Since she’s been a beneficiary of the toiletry items I’ve scored, she’s really rooting for me ;)

For anyone with a Big Lots Buzz Reward Card, they have $1 Colgate 4-pack Wisp Mini-Brush. I know there was a coupon in yesterday’s paper for it, and it was for 50 cents. Normally about $2 for a 4-pack.

My wife is starting to get just as into it as I am. Through a mistake, I ended up with about 150 coupons for Easter candy. She’s been going around to every Rite Aid in the area and getting free Snickers Eggs with them. We’ve got hundreds of the things. She’s giving them as rewards to her students. (She’s a HS bio and chem teacher.)

I’ve always been a stockpiler by nature, but the prices are just unbelievable. I’ll never pay more than $.25 for bodywash again. And toothpaste? They’re giving away Colgate by the truckload EVERY month. Does ANYONE actually pay full price for it?? lol I don’t even use Colgate and I still have ended up with at least 10 tubes of it through various MM deals.

Yep, coming up on Sunday.

Sorry, it’s a $6MM for buying 4.

The imotion kit is $5. Buy 4 with the $4/1 coupon, pay $4 and get back $10 ECB.

I’m going to get 12 of em. No idea what the heck I’m going to do with them all, but the cat box room will smell a lot better when I’m done. I imagine they’re like razors where you just keep getting the kits and never buy refills.

We’ve got a big weekend next week.

MM Lustre toothpaste, $.99 Biore, and MM Carefree at Wags. Airwick at CVS, and then we have MM Gillette Bodywash (how much of this stuff am I going to stockpile!!??) and $.50 John Frieda at Rite Aid. Someone’s got Got2b products for $.50 after coupon I think also.

Then, I have to figure out the best way to work the Similac deal in my favor at Walmart. I have a LOT of those coupons...if I play my cards right, Similac will pay for at least a month’s worth of groceries.

I’ve noticed the Colgate thing...are their sales sagging or something? lol I think I have 5 or 6 tubes by now, and that’s just in the last week. I’ve scored some great body wash...Olay Ribbons and whatnot. My daughter got a couple of Clean and Clear bodywashes last week from me, plus an Olay toner. There have been some great deals on haircare products like Pantene—daughter and I have wavy/curly hair (mine’s more wavy, hers is downright curly) and can’t use the stuff like Suave (dh and the younger kids can). Dh has some Gillette and Old Spice Body wash waiting for him when we move to Ohio, lol. Since we’ll be bouncing around visiting both sets of parents regularly once we get moved to Ohio, he can keep some at each location ;) I also got him a nearly free Oral B toothbrush today. He likes to forget those when he travels!

Right now, I only have Walgreens near me, but I think the town in Ohio we are moving to has CVS as well. Not sure about Rite Aid. Haven’t lived in a location with one of those for quite a while!

Yes, there’s a CVS just a few minutes from where my dh is staying right now (company rental house). I thought I had seen it during my short stay there over Christmas break.

I just noticed the closet Walgreens will be about 1/2 hour away up in Jackson, OH. :(

I have a question for you. I tried to use a grocery store (specific) store at Walmart and they wouldn’t take it. They also told me they wouldn’t take Walgreens register rewards.

I think that the manager was mis-informed, but what do you think?

Walmart no longer takes Walgreens RRs. That deal started on March 1 and ended March 16.

I still have some of these in my stockpile from 2 or 3 years ago! That and the flameless candles.

Thanks for the fun coupon pings! :)

Don’t forget if you do long form on your taxes any thing you donate to a ‘approved charity’ men’s or women’s shelter is tax deductible! Just get a receipt from the shelter, and no one needs to know you got the items for free. :-)

I have a year’s supply of toothpaste...hubby will only use gel, and I don’t care as long as it does it’s job and cleans my teeth. We have each have our own bathrooms.
