John McCain: Hillary Clinton is an 'international star' ("she has done a really tremendous job")

Washington - Sen. John McCain, the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, calls Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton an “international star” but sharply criticizes the Obama administration’s policy on Libya.

At a Monitor-sponsored breakfast for reporters on Wednesday, Senator McCain, the 2008 Republican candidate for president, was asked to rate President Obama’s national security team. “I think the international star is Secretary Clinton,” McCain said. “She has done a really tremendous job.”

You need professional help.

Everything McCain does for the next five years Palin owns. Live with it.

This pandering ho better be careful or Grahamnesty will get jealous. Maybe he believes that if he’s nice to BroomHilda she’ll pick him as her VP. This old fossil needs to retire.

Actually...she has done a good job if the standard is to just compare her to the overall rest of the Obama Adminstration...that’s not setting the bar very high, of course.

Oh, I don’t disagree with you about what John McCain is, but Sarah isn’t responsible for that. She repaid a rather LARGE political debt to him, and it hurt her standing with some people on our side, such as yourself.

Sarah is the polar opposite of McCain. She’s got more moral certitude and righteousness in her pinkie, than he has in his whole body. He knew this, and preyed upon her sense of fairness for his own benefit, knowing full well that it would cause her great harm amongst some of her supporters. But he didn’t give two sh!ts about that.

I reserve my wrath and enmity for McCain, not Sarah. She only did what her moral grounding compelled her to do. Don’t think for a second that she’s unaware of how much it cost her.

Yeah, Clinton's done an awesome job... she's just overseen the largest intelligence leak in United States history.

Other than that she's doing great.

John McCain is such a filthy whore.

Hey man. At least whores are honest with how they make a living. McLame just spent all last year selling himself as the most Conservative man since Reagan just to get reelected. Now if that whore were a man in drag you thought was a chic, that would be McLame.

Palin had zero debt to McCain. She was dumb to do it.

The American people are now stuck with McCain for 6 long years.

That's another vote for amnesty and big government.

“Other than that she’s doing great.”

Remember the pictures of Bush with the “Miss me yet?”.

Geez man, I’d almost welcome Billy boy back also.....almost?

She wouldn’t have had any of that clout had McCain not selected her as VP and she would have been the one to betray if she had not backed him.

So she did it for power and her debt to McCain was greater than her loyalty to the U.S.?

You never, ever hear Democrats gushing over Republicans the way you hear Republicans gushing over Democrats.

If McCain would have been elected president do you think any Democrat would be gushing over him?

Please, John, you endured so much for the team in the Hanoi Hilton, years of beatings that left you unable to raise your arms above your shoulders, and you refused release separately from your men, as were your standing orders, and as you made a point of personal honor. Please just shut your mouth now for the team. It’s not too much to ask. Because the more you do things like this, the more you’re diminishing the honor and esteem you earned then.

Unless that's all a lie, and the other prisoners knew it, and the VC and Chicoms used it against him to set up a manchurian candidate out of an admiral's son for future use in American politics... and Hillary knows it, and can document it.

In that case, why, I guess he'd do anything for her - with a smile.

Conspiracies exist, and have existed - it’s in the nature of elites, among others, to conspire. Many explanations are possibilities, but do you think the one you’ve mentioned is most likely? Conspiracies, as mentioned, are mundane. And the likeliest explanations are often the most mundane ones. I think that’s sometimes called Occam’s Razor. The take I have on McCain is that the comfortable seek to maintain their comfort, claims to being a maverick aside.
