Absolutely, it was the president who made the threat that he would not pay the military. It’s a separate issue.

Boehner should have let the government “shut down” and then every congressman put a bright spotlight on the fact that it was Obama who chose to suspend military pay, rather than lose paying for planned parenthood and the host of unconstitutional alphabet agencies.

It is time to stop being nice and time to start playing for keeps. If Boehner needs one, I bet I can drum up a spare backbone. Enough is enough.

You’re the one that basically claims every two years we should have a vote and whoever controls the most government functions wins. So, let’s not even have a Senate, a House or a President. Let’s just vote every two year who shall be the dictator by voting and then giving full dictatorial powers to the Democrats if they control so much as 1 of the three and to the Republicans only if they control all three. That is your logic, and seems to be the logic of the Republican Party year after year.

We control the House, yet, we bow to the Senate and President. We control the house appropriations. We control what they will get; yet, we cower if they so much as say, “boo!” When we control the President, we cower. When we control both houses of congress, we cower. When we control the President and the congress we cower. Just when the Hell is it time to flex our muscles and do what is right?

Well, maybe the Republicans don’t because there really isn’t a much difference between them. Maybe the Democrats and the Republicans both want to tax and spend; they just have different PR departments.

He is an American patriot who is doing what he can with the hand he was dealt. He is not my emeny, and if he is yours, then you are a traitor to the United States. Use your words wisely. He may be someone you oppose, but he is not an enemy.

You are an ignorant fool lead by party politics. Trying to call me a traitor for demanding our elected officials act with courage and do what is right for this country is nothing but you acting as a RNC suck up. YOU are the traitor as you believe anything and everything your political party does is excusable. During the revolutionary war they were called Tories. Welcome to their club.

You can have the last word. FR is becoming a place where anger and hatred rule, words like enemy are freely used when referring to patriotic Americans. It is simply disgusting.
