Sorry, but you are wrong on that one. The Republicans have all the power they need. They control Congress and the purse strings that come with it.
They could have shut the government down and not worry about what they think Americans think, they could have gotten everything they wanted.
The Debt Cieling will be the big test. If they stand strong and dont make a deal to increase the debt limit, it is game over for spending.
But I assume that all the seniors, women and children that will be affected according to the Dems will be more than enough to allow the Republicans to give in.....
That is what ‘worked’ before. Which is why they keep doing it. Their way has ‘worked’. We are too ready to make and keep the peace. MO
Time will tell whether it is a good idea of reality or a inaccurate one.
I pray I am wrong, cause this is a bleak view ahead of America...
And we are the hope of the world!
God help us in this day, guide us, teach us, in Jesus name, amen.
I think Boehner was looking out for our troops. With zero publicly stating he would veto the bill and not pay our troops, I think John did what he had to do. Let this sham fall on the POS in the WH, and let his words come back to haunt him. John looks like the good and compassionate guy in this.
Its so easy to be an armchair quarterback on forums, but, none of us know exactly what goes on in DC.
I prefer that our troops get paid, and that they take up a bigger fight in the days ahead.
Zero is on record saying he wouldn’t pay our military. That’s a wonderful 2012 campaign ad, as far as I’m concerned. Let the people see for themselves who the true patriot and compassionates are. And, it isn’t the DEM party
