That's the Donald Trump I know. Whatever is best for The Donald is his motivation.
I do applaud him for bringing the birth certificate issue into the daylight though.
It's real nice for the person whose debt is forgiven but what about the poor guy holding the debt?
I've read your replies to me and read your post at #54 and it sure sounds like you're playing loose with the facts and giving short shrift to conservatism. You think the GOP front runners are Romney and Trump. That they both have business credentials unmatched by other possible candidates yet unnamed. You've concluded that Romney is like McCain, a nice guy who has no chance of beating Obama. WOW, McCain a nice guy? LOL That's a first for FR. And clearly, you would vote for Trump if by some miracle he was the GOP nominee. So don't deny it.
If you have been around FR since 2000, then you know about all the debates and battles that have taken place between conservatives and the more moderate/liberal contingent on this forum. I have been vindicated time and again for my strong opposition to the candidacies of Schwarzenegger, Giuliani, Romney and Scott Brown. Even my vocal opposition to Bush43's second term liberal domestic spending agenda has been vindicated.
Consistency is a hallmark of conservatives. Going off the rightwing reservation to support a liberal like Trump is not something I associate with conservatism. And having a website doesn't make you a conservative either. If you continue supporting Trump my guess is you'll keep getting criticized.
No, I KNOW they are the front runners at this point in the GOP. Those are the facts not my opinions. That's the latest polling data.
It's very clear that you have a history of bashing republicans much more than democrats. In fact after going back a few pages I finally quit looking for a post where you actually criticized anybody who is not Republican. Telling.
Because of that, I welcome all you criticisms and flaming of posts. I'm in good company.

The only thing worse than a liberal Democrat, is a liberal Republican. For the most part, I have little patience with moderate or centrist Republicans. Usually don't care for neoconservatives and libertarians either. My pecking order is conservatives first, followed by everyone else. FYI, I am a lifelong Republican. Never voted for a liberal in my life and have no intention of starting now.
Aside from Herman Cain, no one has announced their intentions for 2012 yet.
