As to her statement (released on a Monday after Trump has made the rounds on the weekend news programs), she claims now to have received a letter announcing the Obama birth in Hawaii. Why was her statement not released years ago?

Uh, the existence of the letter to the Kenyan family *was* revealed years ago. Over four years ago, in fact:

Thanks for the clarification. I honestly hadn't heard of such a letter until the release of this statement. I guess the timing of this re-release was simply a coincidence.

In remembering and referencing some of your prior posts, you're fairly certain that Obama isn't hiding anything from his past. As one of two posters here I'm familiar with that are saying Obama (on this issue) has nothing to hide, a simple question;

Why hasn't Obama released his Birth Certificate or a certified copy of the same to end the controversy?

Please enlighten us as to how Abercrombie would know about a letter that arrived in Kenya 50 years ago.

Abercrombie said Obama's parents introduced their newborn to friends at the University of Hawaii where Abercrombie was going to college with the president's father. He also told us that during the first year of little Barry's life, "We not only saw him and were with them, but were introduced to him of course at our gatherings, our student gatherings." That seems very odd if little Barry was living with his mother while she was attending classes at the University of Washington. "Let's be serious.
