She is in charge of all these assumptions that she is not going to run, and has the wherewithall and the cash to change these perceptions if she chooses. Communicating only with more of a fan base than a broad constituency of supporters is her way of saying she is not interested in broadening or increasing a larger voter base vitally necessary for her to win. At least, yet, and the clock is ticking. Competent campaign people and plenty of money are both being locked up right now, and a lot of it is going to Bachman among others that could have been Palins. She is not running. Eventually she won’t even have the time to run because the clock is the one thing that is not hanging around to wait on her.
