To: worst-case scenario
Aren't you going to be surprised when these saints meet you at the moment of your death and say, "WCS, you were sadly mistaken. My body really was incorrupt!"

Or is it because you are a scientist, and you don't really want to believe it so you put it aside and say it isn't true?

Read this -- there are many incorrupt bodies. It's not just St. Bernadette.

BTW, if you were baptized and rasised as a Catholic, you are still (and always will be) a Catholic. You are just an inactive Catholic it seems. We invite you back to the church. Faith doesn’t require miracles. I can believe in Bernadette’s saintliness without having to believe that he body is incorruptible. If she *does* actually chide me in the afterlife, hopefully we will all have a good chuckle at my doubts.

I understand why such beliefs are important to some of the faithful. If it strengthens you to believe in these cases, blessings upon you.
