Hey Trump - It’s THEIR OIL.

We should develop our own energy sources.
If other people don’t want to sell oil to us at a cheap-cheap price, that’s their business and we should have made contingency plans for that happening ... we’re the chumps for putting ourselves in that situation.

So stuff it.

I am voting for Trump. I would love to see him tell the Chicoms to Eff off on national TV. I would love to see him tell the saudis that it is time that they pay us for their opulence.

I am aware of Corsi and corresponded with him. There is no doubt that part of the reason Obama released his long form BC is because of Corsi's upcoming book, "Where's the Birth Certificant?"

I have Unfit for Command, which froze the Kerry campaign like a deer in the headlights for almost three weeks. The SBVFT campaign spots are classic examples of how a 30 to 60 second ad can be political dynamite. Something similar needs to be done against Obama's personal narrative.

OMG he said the ‘F’ word?
HE SHOULD NEVER BE PRESIDENT NOW~!

Only Vice President should be OK because it is not a “big f-ing deal”

Trumps’ in your face, slash and burn, no holds barred style is going to make it tough for the media to assasinate his character. Its all out there. What you see is what you get and he doesn’t give sh** what you think.

I want to see the media pull out the Nazi, racist crap with him. He will take it off them and beat them to death with it. LOL

Hey, Lorianne, it is OUR poltical blood and treasure that liberated the Iraqis and removed a murderous tyrant. I see nothing wrong in asking Iraq to pay for at least the costs involved with our effort. The Saudis and Kuwaitis paid over $30 billion to reimburse us for the costs in the Gulf War of defending the Saudis and liberating the Kuwaitis.

The Libyan rebels want our help. Let's get them to agree to reimburse us for the costs involved.

Yes, we need to drill, baby, drill, but if we are going to be the liberators and world's policeman, let's have others help pay for the costs. We are bankrupt.

Bush wasn't above a little salty language either. He may or may not have known the mic was on when he called Adam Clymer an a-hole:
Dubya calls NYT reporter an "a-hole"
I recall that "clymer" became a popular euphemism for here on FR, and is still used occasionally.

Gen Patton and Harry Truman also had their problems with raw language. It didn't make them lesser men. They were as American as apple pie, although that may make us religious folks squirm a little.

We were/are chumps
We should admit it and move on.

We were warned over 40 years ago that this day would come and we just didn’t care. Too busy buddy-buddy kissing bottoms of hard line Islamacists.

Take the lumps.

Patrick: I know! It’s one of those fancy sentence enhancers.
SpongeBob: Sentence enhancers?
Patrick: Ya use ‘em if ya wanna talk fancy. Just sprinkle ‘em over anything you say and WHAMMO! You’ve got yourself a spicy sentence sandwich.

Why do you want to make deals with unscrupulous people who have no hesitation whatsover over murdering us? You deal with people like that you get what you ask for?

Trump is not a tough guy F word or not.
He’s a pansy.

If he had any guts he would lambast the American people for letting ourselves get in this position in the first place w/r/t being so dependent on MENA oil.

Even the hapless Jimmy Carter was more straight with us over oil than Trump (or any other public person, president, candidate in recent memory)

Whose fault was what? Did Iraq invade Kuwait because of us? Did we bring on 9/12?

Do you think we shouldn't have required that the Saudis and Kuwaitis reimburse us for the costs of the Gulf War?

The fact that we are bankrupt is our fault. That doesn't mean that we should just continue to absorb the costs of defending the global economy. We have burden sharing agreements with Japan, Germany, etc. We just can't afford to absorb all of the costs and provide the rest of the world with security welfare.

Did you hear me advocate that we 'defend the global economy' or 'absorb all the costs and provide the world with security welfare'?

No, you did not. So, strawman argument.

“Did Iraq invade Kuwait because of us?...”

Actually yes they did...

“Saddam’s Message of Friendship to President Bush.” (published below)

In it, Ambassador Glaspie affirmed to Saddam that “the President had instructed her to broaden and deepen our relations with Iraq.” As Saddam Hussein outlined Iraq’s ongoing border dispute with Kuwait, Ambassador Glaspie was quite clear that, “we took no position on these Arab affairs.”

There would have been no reason for Saddam Hussein not to take this assurance at face value. The U.S. was quite supportive of his invasion and war of aggression against Iran in the 1980s. With this approval from the U.S. Government, it wasn’t surprising that the invasion occurred. The shock and surprise was how quickly the tables were turned and our friend, Saddam Hussein, all of a sudden became Hitler personified.

Exactly.

So let’s continue to ‘make deals’ with these tyrants and murderers and back-stabbers. That is so smart.

Meanwhile a hell of a lot of their young people (who make up over 50% of the population in MENA countries) get more and more militant everyday and turn their anger toward who? That would be us.

Hello?
