We sat down at 9.30am and watched the whole thing until THE KISS four hours later.

Didn’t intend to.

At my age this history/politics junkie tends towards the cynical and, of course, being a man prefers to maintain a cool mask of disdain while the ladies wax lyrical over weddings and babies.

Plus I’m always suspicious of crowds.

But the sheer enthusiasm and goodwill of the people who came to watch disarmed my pessimism.

The wedding was great... it was Williams batchelor party that was awkward.

Why? Was it held after the wedding ceremony? Even I would consider that to be tacky.

The hats were certainly entertaining to watch. How do they manage to keep some of those hats on their head?

Kate the Commoner sure adds a touch of class to a tacky bunch... Princess Eugenie must have inherited her Mama’s “tart” genes .... yeesh ... she looked like Cap’n Jack Sparrow’s date. And Princess Bea? Whass wid dat Lady Gaga “hat? Next time borrow a tiara

Seriously, Kate and Will = a class act
They even had the Rottweiler’s (Camilla’s)granddaughter in their wedding party. And Edward and Sophie’s little vision-impaired, seldom photographed daughter, Louise

And Kate’s dress was elegant, suitable for a religious sacrament

She didn’t look like a prom date looking to get laid like some David Tutera bride with a strapless bodice-overflowing
prom dress

I started watching just after 0600 EDST...once we got on the BBC channel I loved every single precious second. May God bless this lovely couple...

...I think most of us royal watchers have already concluded that Catherine has the patience of a saint.

Just an incredible viewing experience.

Yes, the hats. But what the heck was that on Princess Eugenie’s head?

I think the PM’s wife holds the record for the smallest headpiece at the wedding. Her bod looked really toned and fit.

No, but if they'd hired a stripper, just imagine the embarrassment. Every pound note tucked in her g-string would have his Grandmother's picture on it.

PS: It's a joke.
