His mother was NOT 18 when he was born, so couldn’t confer citizenship on him. So even if his mother wasn’t legally married, he still couldn’t be a citizen
I see no one disputed your point.
I would suspect that Obama’s mothers age of 18 or 17+ would not be a factor. My recollection was that until 2001 the age of sexual consent in Hawaii was 14.
If English common law or even common practice in the US is the definition, I found the following in a discussion on US marriage laws....”Every jurisdiction mandates that a man and a woman must be old enough to wed. In the 1800s, the legal age was as low as 12 years old for females. Modern statutes ordinarily provide that females may marry at age 16 and males at age 18. Sometimes a lower age is permitted with the written consent of the parents. A number of states allow for marriage below the minimum age if the female is pregnant and a judge grants permission.”
While not an attorney or constitutional scholar, I really doubt that his mothers age is a significant factor in whether Obama is a US citizen.
I sill don't like the President and still suspect that he has had dual citizenship, dual passports, multiple identities and may not be eligible to be president for other reasons besides where he was born.
