What you or I want is perhaps immaterial to the fact that the entire Islamic world has lost one of its black princes. That is what they will be concerned about and they historically prefer to maintain initiative in battles. Obama has also just given the Islamic world a strong cause to get agitated over. That is always the difficult part of the Wack a Mole Gambit. My guess - Israel will probably be forced to move soon.

Sounds a little like the Special Forces raid on the Son Tay POW camp in Vietnam (1972). The assault section more or less sacrificed a chopper by hard-landing it inside the compound. Gets you on the ground with minimal warning and sows confusion among the defenders. 2nd chopper takes everyone out.

This pretty much cancels my plans to go to the huge statuary filled cemetery in Baltimore for an infrared photo shoot.

They will probably first hit the areas that are near or within their sphere of influence. US has issued travel warnings. Stay inside if you are over there. Tit for tat however could get interesting. More worried about Israel. Heck, the Arabic World was already fixing to call a Jihad on Jerusalem. Deja vu all over again. Do not think they have nuclear capability.
