Money quote to ponder:

I am glad he stayed strong with the surge and other facets of this long war. One thing for sure, he'll never get credit from the left. Never. Had he been in office during the OBL take down the left would have called him a war criminal and tried to have him impeached for this horribly aggressive and highly illegal act.

And you're absolutely right. Had this happened under Bush, the left would have aggressively sought to impeach him for this egregious act of terrorism.
