Only use the .223 to immobilize. A pair of bolt cutters, pruning shears or pinking shears can do the real work.

Dad should have shown his appreciation for the piece of garbage via .223 I'm with you. Even if they had won in court, a lawyer would not have solved the problem. A fathers job is to solve the problem, and it's not hard to find the right solution.
