At no time has the State of Hawaii released any documents to the public.
So now that the second supposedly complete COLB has been released then any "privacy concerns" are moot as the document is now public and Hawaii should release the records to the public, not to just the administration or it's attorneys.
Just my opinion.
A state cannot release a person’s birth certificate. The person or a near-relative must request it. If this BC is fake, then the Dept. of Vital Records in Hawaii is involved. Assuming Obama was born in Hawaii, which no one will be able to prove otherwise, the fact remains his supposed father was not an American citizen but no one who matters seems to care. He will not be defeated on this issue.
Here is my proposal for the Obama to clear this whole thing up:
o Waive privacy rights to the documents relating to his birth with the state of Hawaii.
o Have Hawaii deliver a certified copy of the birth certificate, to all requestors - for a charge of $115.
o The proceeds will cover administrative costs ($15) and a $100 to a homeless shelter.
Since the information is already out, there is no real loss of privacy to Obama, and everyone can get a reminder of one of the iconic issues of Obamas first term. (And real hard-core skeptics can examine a true certified paper copy.)
PLUS
Some great charities will get the benefit of both birther skepticism and gift givers generosity. These things would sell like hotcakes.
Come on Obama - feed the homeless...
