Has anyone noticed the price of a candy bar? $1~now that is highway robbery!
Where I am, a Hershy’s bar is $1.25 only when it is on sale. Almost bought one yesterday, but at that price I just said screw it. Don’t need it that bad.
Milk is 2 for $5 where I am.
I have noticed that fast food is becoming cheaper all the time. With grocery prices, electricity to cook it, clean up afterwards, and time involved, suddenly a $10 for a pizza or $6 for a double whopper is not as bad a deal as it once was. With prices going as they are, its almost economical to eat out. They can buy it and cook it cheaper than it would cost me to do it. Especially if you use coupons and look for sales. Its a weird economy right now.

On the contrary, you can still buy quite a nice candy bar for $0.10, a single dime.
Of course there is a catch - it has to be a silver dime like they were still minting back in the 60’s. They are worth over $2 these days. It is The Fed and it’s endless expansion of the money supply and the resulting debasing of our currency that is the root cause of that dreaded $1 candy bar.
