Angelina Jolie made a trip to the Walter Reed Military Hospital in Washington, D.C. back on June 26th. No one reported on this until now because she didn’t tell anyone. She spent several hours with wounded soldiers and gave each one a gift bag which included, among other things, a $1000 gift certificate to Best Buy.

This is to be admired. Good for her.
But, once again the hypocracy of Hollywood shows itself. If she wasn’t putting butts in the seats she’d be black listed.

I am impressed. She’s Jon Voight’s daughter, isn’t she? I know he’s conservative, but have read she’s a liberal.
She is one of the few in Hollywood that actually puts her money where here mouth is... Although I do not agree with everything she does. I have to admit I have a lot more respect for her in this area of her life than rest of the big mouths out there.

I wouldn’t call her a Republican, but she was probably too smart to fall for Obama’s empty words in 2008.
I think Obama probably reminded her of a lot of the Third World dictators she deals with as a Human Rights activist.

Credit were credit is due. I will agree to that. But make no assumptions as to the possible “conservative” nature of Jolie. She ain’t by any stretch of the imagination.
She always seemed to be a lost soul to me, but as time goes by she seems to be growing.
I’ve always thought she was one of the most beautiful women, but I wish she’d eat a touch more.
