I would like to know if this really works.

A good friend suffers greatly from FM.

My sister has fibromyaligia but I think she actually enjoys (not the right word but I can't come up with anything else) it because she uses it all the time. She uses it as an excuse for not going/doing things, she uses it as an excuse for her nasty attitude, etc.

She is on so many different meds for it that I don't know how she functions. However, I also know that while she lives in one state, she continues to go to the doctor she had back in another state. I think she's afraid to find a local doctor because she may not get her prescriptions filled by a new one.

I was diagnosed with Fibromylagia last year. After two different treatments caused nasty side effects, I went to a DC who deals in holostic/homeopathic remedies.

After 2 hours of testing, he concluded I didn't have Fibromylagia; I had systemic candidas. Candidas is a naturally occuring yeast in our digestive tract that, if impacted by surgery or medications, can grow out of control. It moves though membrane walls and ravages other systems in the body. Systemic candidas and Fibromyalgia share 90% of the same sypmtoms.

I eliminated all sugar, yeast, caffine, chocolate, and fruit from my diet for a period of three months; existing on meat, vegetables, a few nuts, and water. I also purchased Aqua Flora High Potency 9, which addresses all 9 strains of Candidas.

I had relief after 3 days, and have been symptom free since. No more migranes, no more fatigue, no more pain, no more digestive problems. Lost 30 lbs of toxins (standing at almost 5'9", I now weigh 123 lbs.) in under 3 months.

I was a big fruit eater, and loved garlic bread with dinner. It was painful to give them up, but it was life-saving and life-changing.

There is a free "spit test" available on-line that folks can take to see if they have Candidas. This website also shows the diet you should eat. www.aquaflorainc.com. You have to adhere strictly to the diet, and take the High Potentcy 9, but it is worth it.

I now control it through diet only, and have started to introduce foods back into my diet without having my symptoms flair.

A friend of mine had fibromyalgia badly; can anyone tell me:

1. What are your symptoms?
2. Have you tried Lyrica for it?
3. Has it worked?

FM isn’t really a disease, but a symptom pattern caused by some underlying problem, one that usually can be mitigated or cured if one could find a doctor knowledgeable enough and caring enough to pursue the lengthy and complex clinical and laboratory diagnosis necessary to find the problem.

Some of the diseases that have FM as a symptom are:

1. Hypothyroidism (needs more than just TSH to diagnose properly; needs full thyroid and thyroid autoimmune panels plus clinical diagnosis).

2. Lupus. (no definitive test, requires clinical diagnosis)

3. Lyme Disease. (need Lyme specialist to diagnose properly)

4. Pernicious Anemia (or other B-12 malabsorption syndrome, needs more than just serum B-12 level to diagnose properly, should be easy to diagnose but most doctors are ignorant of this relatively common disease.)

5. Sleep Apnea and other sleep disorders.

6. Rheumatoid Arthritis and other autoimmune diseases.

7. Sjogren’s Syndrome (requires clinical diagnosis)

8. And no doubt many others.

Any doctor who diagnoses fibromyalgia and leaves it at that is either lazy, ignorant or both, because that’s pretty much the same thing as if a doctor diagnosed you as “sick” or “has a fever”. I highly recommend that you keep going from doctor to doctor until you find a good one who can figure out what is really wrong with you.

Try the cabbage soup diet
http://www.cabbage-soup-diet.com/recipe/
It not only is good for losing weight but does something to your joints and other pains. Could just be all the liquid that cleans you out and lube joints, but I think cabbage has some very interesting healing properties. I feel great doing this diet and I suffer from a variety of pain.

Have a little balance. If alternative medicine which has been around for sucha long time were so wonderful, modern medicine would not have developed as it has.
