Rather crude “photo-chopping” IMO......
It does serve one purpose, however. Imagine you’re a subsistence farmer in South Africa and six or so of these critter invade your sorghum/melon patches regularly. Elephants aren’t dumb herbivores. They need to eat some 400 lbs of browse daily. In “natural” settings they have to work damn hard to get marginal food value. Raiding some farmer’s patch means getting far more food value with far less effort.......
Who says “capitalism” only encompasses human endeavors ?
African professional hunters have been shooting elephants in the thousands for decades to protect villages/farmers. One traditional “bonus” has been a “feast” for the locals. Just as “killing” safaris provide sustenance for local villagers whenever game is shot nearby. >PS
