My wife and I drive cross-country every 12 to 18 months. I like to drive, and she doesn't, so she only spells me for 60 to 90 minutes every now and then if we aren't close to a big city. It would sure make for loser trips if I couldn't take those occasional naps.

We do little pleasure driving at home. Here, life is a team effort. It's nice to share trips to the various stores etc. Life would be harder in this home if the lass didn't drive. I s'pect the same is true in Saudi Arabia.
