It is virtually a daily occurrence for conservatives to be subjected to language that if directed toward a Liberal - any Liberal - would be considered "hate speech". And it is considered bad form for conservatives to ever complain about it, because liberals have also learned to use people's virtues against them. They have also perfected the art of hating, then projecting the same emotion upon the objects of their hatred, all while viewing themselves as "compassionate".
And this is why we are headed down a very dark road: because detachment and depersonalization are attributes not of free and healthy people but of bullies, thieves and worse.
