I may have taken a cheap shot, but from out here in Nevada, the Tea Party, in general, (not your particular organization) was the only target available.

The (nonexistent) Republican organization obviously dropped the ball (again) and left you holding the bag.
It’s almost like a recurrence of that nightmare that happened in the 20th district in 2009, isn’t it?

The Republicans had better learn to fight with no holds barred, like the Dems do, or we’re going to become a footnote in history, like the Federalists and the Whigs.

Nice try but you are using 2008 tactics... you need to read my post again... "party line" is something that we no longer recognize. If you screw over us this time... it will be the end of your GOP... so quit listening to rove and the like and save your country and your party by nominating a real Conservative... if you do not... obama will have you and your ilk to thank... not the millions of Conservatives that have been warning you guys since the last election. If you try to slide in another mccain... look for a fight... it will be the nastiest primary on record. We will not go down without a fight... we will rock the Convention if we need to. Do not doubt me... look at 2010 for proof of what I say.

It is not a matter of purity... it is a matter of electing someone that will do the hard things that MUST be done and that person has to have LEADERSHIP SKILLS and CONSERVATIVE ideology... by definition a rino is a moderate and there have been no Great Moderate Leaders or Heroes... find a single book about “Great Moderate Leaders”... ain't there pal. We cannot afford another rino... this is America's last stand and we need a George S. Patton... not some metrosexual political General like weasley clark... or gates for that matter. If you nominate another mccain... the end result is on the shoulders of party members like yourself.

I don’t hear too many calling for purity; what I’m hearing is that it is high time for the RINO’s to take a turn holding their noses while they vote.

As for what I think will happen? I think the beltway-insiders/GOP-elite will bank & back Romney. NOT AT ALL because they think it is in the best interests of the country, but to maintain the status-quo and try to quell the tea-party. Politics is big-business and those insiders and elitists have become accustomed to making that long bread and being considered an influencer. They will not walk away from it without a fight.
