Barack Obama might have hoped releasing his full-length birth certificate would quieten the ‘birthers’ who claim he was born outside of the U.S. But it seems the President has yet to convince the general public, as a new book about the allegations has had a strong debut in the book charts. ‘Where's the Birth Certificate?’ by Jerome Corsi, which argues he is not a natural-born U.S. citizen, is sixth on a New York Times best seller list.
The ‘birther’ controversy was led by real estate mogul Donald Trump as he considered running for President, which he decided against last month.

they should correct the article to say that he released an “abstract” of a birth certificate.
Even if Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama had been birthed in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House he is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.
You can’t silence the birthers with a fraudulent piece of garbage that was worse than the first one. Obama could have hand written a long form BC on toilet paper and satisfied the LSM.
Of course it is....and using fake social security numbers is a big felony, but for some reason all three branches of government are unconcerned about it and refuse to delve into it...

We haven’t heard the end of this yet.
This makes the whole issue out to be something new, which it was not. I must have missed something, but I think Trump's demands were theater, played on cue to let DuhWon 'release' something just before the debut of Corsi's book.
It's all damage control for DuhWon, who saw what happened to Kerry, it takes the wind out of Corsi's sales (pun intended) by trying to make the issue seem settled.
That lack of scrutiny which the 'settled issue' meme promotes would distract people from the essence of the Constitutional issue, which isn't just a Birth Certificate, but the Natural Born Citizen status of the person in the Oval office, or the lack thereof.
That abstract wasn't even his Birth Certificate.
It's a distraction and a two-fer, keeping people off the Constitutional issue, and giving the journolists the ability to act as if this hasn't been an issue since before the election.
The most recent release was not an abstract. It was something that at least looked like a copy of the long form. Some anomalies though.
But even if it was authentic, he’s not natural born since that requires parents, plural, who are citizens. He’s native born, meaning born in the country. But one must be native born (in the country or to parents “in the service” of the country.) AND have citizen parents.
