Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has uncovered documents from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that indicate officials at the FCC colluded with the leftist Free Press organization to publicly push a new plan to regulate the Internet under the FCC’s so-called “net neutrality” program. Judicial Watch obtained the documents pursuant to a December 27, 2010, Freedom of Information Act request...

Major, major, major scandal.

It will get ZERO media mention. Nor will anyone in any position to oversee such things lift a finger.

So pay your taxes and have a nice day.

"there has to be a way to put him in prison"

No good! He owns the prison guard unions as well.

One other issue.....Postmodernism .....This idea that you can separate parts without regard to the whole is not new....and it is deeply flawed.

You can never separate economics from human nature. (you wouldn’t have economic systems without humans) .

Morality is part of human nature and to ignore it when you are talking about human interactions is folly (and part of cultural Marxists’ way to destroy Western Civilization). Their analysis—to destroy the economics—all you have to do is destroy virtue—to do that you destroy Christianity and the natural family.

Quite easy....destroy responsible, self-sufficiency and family loyalty and safety nets....you completely destroy the system of self-rule. No responsibility for your actions and government has to pick up the slack.

Thanks. I just read this

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2729028/posts

and was going to post it, but someone else beat me to it.

I know I’m not surprised. The details don’t surprise me anymore on this topic.

There can’t be any doubt at this point. Net Neutrality is the fairness doctrine for the internet - at best. At worst, it’s a full marxist takeover. If it becomes absolute policy, we’re screwed.

The details are even worse than they seem:

The Marxist Roots of Net Neutrality

Here Comes The Internet Regulatory Creep

Net neutrality always was and is a fiat takeover of the internet. There’s no other reason soros would be involved.

They also colluded with the telcos. The FCC takes input from all concerned. And given that an FCC commissioner is leaving to take a high-paid government-lobbying VP slot at Comcast, I don’t think their interests went without representation.

Funny I’ve seen nothing about this revolving-door scandal in the news. It has payoff written all over it.

Is it possible to have an anti-neutrality article without lying or confusing the issue?

“The supporters of “net neutrality,” including Free Press, argue that high-speed Internet access is a “civil right,””

That is a separate issue. It has its roots long before the modern net neutrality issue in the government programs to provide phone service to everyone in America, especially in rural areas. Sure, some organizations support both net neutrality and universal Internet service, but then Cato is pro 2nd Amendment, but against an amendment protecting traditional marriage. The 2nd Amendment issue must be bad, because Cato is against protecting traditional marriage? That’s the logic here. Quit mixing issues.
