Principle vs. practice: in principal it’s good to use deductive logic to solve problems; in practice, most challenges in life require a healthy dose of inductive logic.
Profiling based on real world characteristics is good inductive logic.
Yeah, I remember all the controversy when Bush and the Republican controlled CONgress instituted racial and religious profiling of airline passengers. I also remember when Bush and the Republican controlled CONgress sealed the border and stopped all Muslim immigration after 9/11. Oh, wait a minute.
This is actually really good news. Most of us already all knew she thought this.
Now that we have Janet on the record the Republicans and Tea Party need to take advantage of this. Start making Ads of her saying this, and then flashback to the towers going down, OBL, Richard Reed (the shoe guy), etc.....
This is great stuff they can capitalize on for the 2012 election...
Janet hasn’t been able to concentrate on the job ever since Hillary chose weenies babe over her.
Egypt has just re-opened their border crossing with the Gaza Strip.
They have announced that women, children and men over 40 will be allowed to pass without visas or special screening.
And if that profiling model is good enough for THEM....
I was referring to the “swarthy middle-eastern” look. If you profile for that then they start sending radicalized blacks etc. Really, what exactly does a “muslim” look like?
Napolitano and her master(s) are convinced of it. Some of us are just less "useful" than others.

Well, for that matter, what exactly does a "Black" look like. I understand what you're saying, and although I was simply proposing a general principle, I would think that this "Black" would probably fall within many of the parameters of the profile. There's a reason people intuitively think, and correctly so in my opinion, that grandma McGillicuddy in a wheelchair, or ten year old Sarah with the long golden locks, are not people we should be focusing our attention on.
Oh, by the way, did you know that Moses’ wife was Ethiopian? Just a little tidbit to set the neurons a-firing...
