BigGovernment has learned from a confidential source on Capitol Hill that, starting tomorrow, Rep. Weiner’s DC staff will depart for other Congressional offices. According to our source, staff from Democrat leadership assembled Rep. Weiner’s staff and offered to assist them finding positions in other offices. Finding positions for everyone in Weiner’s DC office could take a week or two.

If he won’t resign, perhaps they’ll impeach him. That’d be interesting.

Since Weiner won’t go, I’m assuming the leadership got with his staff and made them a deal they couldn’t refuse.

I figure Weiner is waiting until Pelosi has him a cushy, high paying job lined up before he resigns.

They have the right to expel, but that has been used very rarely, mostly those who supported the Confederacy.

Pretty unlikely I'd guess. Tony is taking the "rehab" route. Republicans would be evil to add the stress of impeachment hearings.

I would like to know to what degree the staffers helped him in his perversion. That should disqualify them from further service (I realize that for a Democrat it probably will add to their resume).

Why the hell should any of these assistant rats get immediate jobs?

There is 9.1% unemployment; in case they had not yet filled their staff allocations, ALL the new freshman congresscritters are republican and these are minnie rats. Are some dem 'rats gonna take extra minnie rats on their rat allocations while the govt rings up a $1.6T deficit?

Shame on all of you! Weiner is the Poster-boy for Congress and the pride of his District. I hope he stays. The Dems have Pelosi, Wasserman-Shultz, Rangel, Waters, Hastings, Barney and now Weiner. Why, thats a crowd we can all rally around in this time of trouble.

“perhaps Hillary needs to have a talk with him”

****

Weiner served as a beard for the Hillary/Human relationship. It’s the one thing he has going for him as leverage on the terms of his exit from Congress.

None of the Dims want to open up that can of tuna, including the details of a sham marriage performed by Slick Willie.

“They have the right to expel, but that has been used very rarely, mostly those who supported the Confederacy.”

Well, his transgressions are not at that level. This is why the dems need him to resign, and why we need him to stay?

I’m not sure about that last bit.

Here is the dilemma: do we get down in the gutter with the left, or do we continue to try and be better?

For me this is like the death penalty. I’m on the fence. I don’t know which is the better course.

I LIKE the idea of being ‘better’, but I’m not sure that carries the day. If the media were fair it would be a different equation, but they are not.

SO, you see I’m in a quandry.

On further thought, I’m sure Weiner needs to go though, for the good of the country. For the CHILDREN!
