THE EDITOR'S COLUMN: America, what is happening here?At 6 a.m. last Tuesday, a good citizen, Kenneth Wright of Stockton, Calif., was awakened by the clamor of about 15 armed SWAT team members breaking through the front door of his house.
The commandos were armed agents of — really — the U.S. Department of Education. And they bashed their way into his house and held him and his children while they apparently searched for evidence of alleged student loan fraud involving Wright’s estranged wife.
Careful, the SWAT team was just Department of Education LEOs with Shotguns. Since the SWAT moniker was created by the victim, he has now been relegated to the “scum fraudster” category, by certain whack-jobs at FR, even though 15 cops with shotguns entered his home to confiscate papers for a non-violent crime for a person who no longer lives there, and none of whom had a criminal record. SWAT or Not, Jack-booted thugs are flexing muscle, especially now that they fear losing their pensions.
