We are going to have a full stage of candidates for several months, and the RNC needs to exert influence and/or set up their own debates, to allow these candidates to present their viewpoints to the American people in a better setting.
Why the Republican Party keeps allowing Lucy to hold the football is beyond me.
His grunting drove me crazy - and his bottom lip doesn’t move when he says the letter M.
He could have left out the coke or pepsi questions and had more time.
I noticed one obvious question King failed to ask in his This or That:
CNN or FoxNews?
lol
Agreed. We was the Biggest Loser. Goodbye.
Horrible.
King sounded like a Tourette’s sufferer. (My apologies to Tourette’s sufferers.)
He was inept at managing the clock, inept at directing the questions and couldn't help but lie when "repeating" what a candidate had just said and loved to hear the sound of his own voice.
And, finally, who can forget the asinine "this or that?"
Technology is such that, facts may be, and often ARE deliberately withheld misrepresented. There is too much opportunity for unscrupulous and unprincipled clowns to misrepresent what takes place. Too much is permitted to interfere and too many ‘hands in the soup’ manipulate the facts and events. A perfectly credible and capable candidate is made to appear as a bumbling idiot. A bumbling idiot is made to appear as though he/she is EXACTLY the man for the job.
I will NEVER watch a TV political debate.
This or That? Did he stank or stunk?
Were there any questions about the economy? I only caught the latter part of the debate.
I didn’t watch the debate on CNN since I refuse to watch anything that network has to offer. We know they have a history of biased reporting and then we expect them to give us an even break,Not likely.
That go’s double for the rest of the Old MSM.
WHY DID ANY ONE OF *OUR* CANDIDATES LINE UP TO GO ON CNN???
Just don’t go on CNNBCBSMSNBCPBS ANYMORE!!
I think it was his big nose making all the ruckus.
Either interupt or shut the hell up, king.
I’m waiting for Rush Limbaugh to moderate a debate. It seems like the only folks allowed to moderate are dyed-in-the-wool Liberals.
the grunting and the constant reprimanding to keep answers short. Give me a break. As long as the candidate isn’t running out the clock with BS like Obama, let’m finish their answers. At least it was nice to see the 7 ignore King for the most party and talk over him. Newt was particularly impressive at pushing back. there was also a lot of correcting by the candidates so that King didn;t miss-quote them as he tried numerous times.
No questions on the economy or energy, just liberal issues about homosexuals, abortion, God and gummit, then Paulson got all the questions even though nobody will vote for him.
Then of course the Tea Party is too extreme question.
Pray for America
Frankly, and a big shout out to every commenter on this thread up through 21, after about 2 minutes, I wanted to punch the interrupting multi questions within a question preceeded by a vague reference to something put forth by one of the other candidates, SOB right in the mouth.
I attempted to make this post in the same vein as one of King’s questions. I believe I succeeded. Kudos to the contestants for being able to understand what he was getting at. He left me wondering half the time, what the heck he was talking about.
I DVR’d the debate and watched part of it later in the evening. 15 minutes of King was all I could take. The GOP never fails to impress with their choice of debate venues and moderators.
