I think some confusion is around the fact that I said Romney won the debate. That doesn’t mean I am FOR Romney, as I said in the post, I am judging them around just the debate.
I have friends? LOL That’s awesome.
Excellent point. I kinda thought the same thing. And while I thought Michelle would do well, she did even better than I expected. My biggest disappointment was Pawlenty though. He could have gone after Romney but didn’t.
And THAT is why I am upset. I fear the fix is in too and nothing will change. But, if we scream loud enough ... who knows.
And you can bet if he is nominated, the Drats will beat him to death with that. Romney can NOT win.
>> IBTZ!
LOL, I was prepared to contribute the ever unwelcome Ron Paul compliments, but had a hearty laugh when I read from the article:
“Romney: The clear winner of the debate”
Romney was pathetic. He’s very weak in presence and substance.
Santorum is impressing me. He’s coming off more convincing and confident than he does during regular sit-down interviews. Perhaps like Rumsfeld, he’s best on his feet.
Unless you mean what is assumed in the chain of command, namely, that the president always has to make the final decision, I can't agree on this. I am not a Romney fan, but his comment sounds very much like things President Bush said about letting the generals do their jobs.
Unless we have an Eisenhower or someone like him in the White House who has senior military command experience, our presidents must not only listen very carefully to the recommendations of their generals on troop deployment, redeployment and pullout matters but also implement those recommendations in most cases. The generals know what they are doing, but in most (not all) cases, modern political leaders don't have a clue about the military and what it takes to win wars.
I agree that it's a political decision whether to use military force. Once we're committed, we need to let the military do its job, and that usually means getting the politicians out of the way unless they're political leaders who also have competence in military matters.
SHARIA? You MDS people really are beyond the pale. If you don’t agree with his policies or religion fine, but making stuff up, really.
Let me see I remember Sarah appointed a pro abortion judge to the Alaska SC. That is not made up as Edith Ann used to say that’s the twuth.
Must disqualify her from running for president.
Mass did vote for Reagan but don’t forget 1972, same yr B’s last won the Cup:
NIXON 49, AMERICA 1
MASSACHUSETTS—THE ONE AND ONLY
Great conservative politicians from MA
Deval Patrick
John Kerry
John Tierney
Barney Frank
John Olver
Jim McGovern
Mitt Romney (yes, I’ll throw him in, maybe Brown too)
If Mass is conservative how come Bielat didn’t beat Frank?
