I'm going to have to be a devil's advocate on this one. If Obama resigns early next year, we may very well be looking at the Hildabeast as president beginning January 2013. I think any GOP candidate will be able to beat Obama; not so sure about Hillary. Most of our NEA-educated moronic voters have completely forgotten about the missing billing records, the rediculous "dodging bullets" in Kosovo lie, and all the other pathetic Bill & Hillary escapades. She'd probably be named as Biden's veep and would accept with his pledge not to oppose her for the 2012 nomination (which he would realize he could not win against her).
A wounded and disgraced Obama is a much more encouraging target for the GOP in 2012. This may, of course, be the very reason why dem party elders may start leaning on him to resign (say, to take some high-level UN post) if his numbers really continue to tank.

Resign? Never. He’ll fight it out to the end. There isn’t much more time left anyway. I doubt he’ll even get a primary challenge, but who knows?

The man is breaking a dozen laws a day without breaking a sweat. He is pissing on court orders, sopenas and using “stimulus” money to pay off political debts.
There is no rule of law in this country right now. Thus, no laws can or will put any pressure on him or his criminal cohorts in the congress.
I think that “Fast and Furious” will be his undoing. Things will begin to pile on and he will resign to prevent his ineligibility from being uncovered because if that happesn, EVERYTHING he has done as president and every judicial appointment and every bureaucratic rule could be declared unconstitutional.
I don’t see him resigning. He is too small a man to do that. However with his crumbling popularity even in black Chicago, I do see his creators, comrades and handlers deciding that “kinetic ascension” is the last bit of juice they can get out of him. A fresh martyr has more value than a stale and failed prophet.
Pray for the Secret Service, that of all the people in the world, Barack Hussein Obama is the safest and most secure, and leaves office according to proper protocols.

I tend to agree with you. I think he is going to try and pull something, probably with the help of his terrorist buddies, which will allow him to declare martial law, and claim the change in power would weaken the nation or some such nonsense.
I don’t see this criminal enterprise leaving the WH without a Constitutional crisis, and bloodshed.

No. That's in order to be a citizen under the 14th amendment. Even then, Obama's mother was not old enough to confer citizenship to Obama if he were born outside the US under the naturalization laws that existed at the time he was born.

A) The Republicans screw it all up or capitulate before hostilities commence - ALWAYS a distinct possibility.
B) The Democrat left (possibly in collusion with the establishment GOP -the other left), play some kind of Statist coup d’état card. “Terrorism”, “economic crisis”, “unicorn flu” or similar charade. All of the police state legal authority, agencies, and justifications have been put in place or sketched out in the past two decades. Improbable, but not impossible or unprecedented.
