I pray this is true and he truly does have the evidence. That might be the beginning that would unravel the Gun Runner thing to Mexico.

They couldn't take down Clinton with evidence of obvious perjury and obstruction of justice, but they'll take down Obama for using federal funding for political purposes? Not hardly. I think they'd be more likely to impeach over the War Powers Act.

I hope you are not holding your breath waiting for the impeachment.

Obama could be caught in bed with a Koran, a live boy, and a dead girl...the GOP still wouldn’t have the cajones to impeach him. And there’s no way a Dim-controlled Senate would permit it to happen either.

The house doesn’t have the stomach to impeach this close to election season and the senate would never convict.

The best you can hope for is to use this to convince a Dem to primary 0bama. But they won’t. They march lockstep, like they always do. They jettisoned Weiner as a token scapegoat. They’ll stand by their man.

Is this "huge and serious" or "hugh and series"? If having a British subject for a father and dual citizenship at birth is not enough to evict the usurper, what hope is there of using accounting data to do so?

What always brings them down is mail fraud and wire fraud.

He used the power of the federal government to steal two of the largest companies in the United States from their rightful owners, the creditors, and give them to the unions and the feds. Barely a whisper from the GOP. No chance they impeach two democrat presidents in a row and if they did it would be a greater failure than last time.

Unfortunately he can have all the evidence he wants. He still has a senate firmly In Obammy’s pocket and that includes a few republicans.

You can read the full report here.

Issa cites three separate federal statutes violated by the Obama administration and has called for a Government Accountability Office (GAO) to launch an investigation. If violations of the law are found, impeachment could follow

You took the words right off of my keyboard.

Mitchell Deere in John Grisham's The Firm, on charging Bendini, Lambert & Locke with mail fraud: "It's not much, but it has teeth."

Not going to hold my breath. The Congress refused to impeach Bill Clinton for lying to a grand jury. While the paying for propaganda charges may be real, and illegal, the response from the left will be the same as their approach to Clinton’s investigation. They will demonize Darrell Issa the way they demonized Ken Starr and the press will play along. Instead of the drumbeat of “This is just about sex” it will be “This is just about art and blogging. And nobody listens to those guys anyway. No big deal.”

to be more accurate that should be “...impeach/convict Bill Clinton...”

There is no one on either side of the aisle that will have the evidence or the will to use it to rid ourselves of this president. No one is mounting an attack, and the Republicans will not pursue this because it is politically risky and just plain hard work. The lesson of the last several years is that the President can do whatever he pleases and nothing serious will happen to him.

Impeaching doesn’t matter. You need 67 votes in the Senate to convict. There are 47 Republican votes. Please list the 20 Democrat Senators that will vote to convict.

to be precise, the House did impeach Clinton

but the Senate didn’t convict. their trial was mushy.
