Remember the 1st Carolina was & is South Carolina.....NC is just an afterthought and is a great place but not the real Carolina.

Carolina was Carolina, until it was divided. Then there were North and South. The Albemarle Sound region of NC was settled decades before Charleston ever put on the first air, lol.
