Rain is a rare blessing this time of year. I’m reminded of the silly TV weathermen who talk as if rain is the curse from the skies. They sound like they want to live in Death Valley.
I know many parts of the country are having drought or wildfire problems and need rain really bad. There is a fire in NC and when the wind blows up our direction from there we can smell the smoke from it. That fire has been going on for at least a month. I hope it dies soon.
