Sounds more like the story does not support the headline.I agree with you --- I can't find where it says the Fr Hood Killer was vindicated. If that were the case, I think some sort of civil war would break out.

Its an all volunteer military. If an enlistee doesn't intend to do what the military requires, he should apply for a discharge or not join in the first place.
Muslims who make this claim have no business collecting a military paycheck. If they feel they are being forced to choose between their religion and service to their country, then they need to pick which one they feel is most important.
Otherwise, they are unlawful combatants wearing a U.S. military uniform and should be treated as such.

I agree, vindicated is not the word to use. Evidently Hasan had warned of “adverse events” if Muslims were not granted conscientious objector status but he was trying to justify the murders he committed.

I don’t believe I can involve myself in an army that wages war against Muslims. I don’t believe I could sleep at night if I take part, in any way, in the killing of a Muslim.Al Queda and the Taliban don't seem to have a problem with killing Muzzies. Neither did Saddam or Quadaffi. As far as I am concerned, it is a BS traitorous excuse.

But let’s take his argument as true. We should then expel all Muslims from the US military and all supporting contractors, since keeping them in is a violation of sharia law.
