There’s nothing funny about Stewart.
I laughed when I heard Stewart claim NBC, MSNBC, NYTimes, etc., weren’t biased...then I fast-forwarded the rest of his interview. Manifestly untrue.
Denial doesn’t make it so.
I was going to ask how anyone can take a (bad) Comedian's show as real news, then I remember the characters you see on ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN etc etc etc. Hard to tell the difference.
I believe Jon Stewart when he denies their is no Leftist Media Bias.
When one spends their entire life within the lefty bubbles of LA and NYC, one believes that life there is main stream.
Stewart ought to broadcast his show from Lubbock Texas for a year if he really claims he is an open-minded moderate political pundit.
“actually denied that CNN, ABC, et. al. are not politically biased”
The first and hardest thing to do is to admit you have a problem.
Honesty is not this propagandist pr*ck’s strong suit.
It's the new rallying cry ... and it's a good one!
I’m actually a little suprised. He’s a big lib but I thought he was enough of a contrarian/cynic that he’d see the liberal bias and be willing to admit it.
The whole bias thing is a good indicator of whether you’re dealing with a decent liberal or a total koolaid drinker. If they can’t see or admit that the media slants left, they’re probably beyond redemption.
Why is Jon Leibowitz (Tony Weiner’ Delaware beach buddy and below b-grade comic) given such clout?
Free Republic has been documenting liberal bias in the media for over a decade.
You could probably write a Ph.d in liberal bias in the media just from the documentation of “barf alerts”.
This is more than just a denial by Stewart. This is an outright lie.
Stewart ought to open his eyes and see who attended his DC bash. I bet there were at least three conservatives there...well maybe two true ones. How ignorant is it to not even recognize when oneself is a liberal or a conservative? A little self examination is in order.
actually denied that CNN, ABC, et. al. are not politically biased
Which, by negating a negative, actually says that they ARE politically biased. I didn’t hear Stewart’s actual words, but I would guess that the writer meant the opposite but Freudian slipped the truth.
