I even clicked through directly to your blog, but with all the distracting animation running down both sides or it, I couldn’t make myself stay to read it. That layout is painful!

Simple. You need none for most text posts. If you want to UNDERLINE, or include IMAGES, or change FONT SIZE, you must use HTML, and must use it throughout that POST (meaning you must use PARAGRAPH breaks, etc)

Well then, you should have been very familiar with the material and been able to easily come up with a suitable 'summary' or outline of an OPINION blog from your own website.
Having tried to read the blog of yours already, I can understand how it was hard for you to come up with a suitable excerpt.

Obama grew into a monster by such “you’re so good” empty positive affirmation. The tell tale in your reply, Leni, was in calling the other criticism “specious”. It was not.
A man seeking to become wise avoids flattery and cherishes criticism, honest criticism, even when it is harsh.
Okay, since that tiny bit of animation is so totally minor, I'll substitute a less diplomatic word in my criticism, i.e., "dumb".

You could have just said you liked what he said, and that your weren’t bothered by the animation. I agree with four other posters on this issue, Lady, your opinion is a minority opinion that the noisy graphics aren’t distracting and off-putting.
