and nearly that many believe the definition of the constitutional term "natural born citizen" means both parents must be U.S. citizens

Funny nobody brought this up until after Obama was elected.

not true.
just as there have been many top scientists for years saying global warming is a hoax.

but “bringing something up” isn’t always easy.

also, most of us, myself including, TRUSTED our elected officials, to do their sworn duties, and uphold their oaths to the Constitution.

so most of us DID believe, and didn’t bother to check, until a few lonely voices like Satindoll began to be heard.

Not true. Check my post history. I was just part of a long thread where that statement was thoroughly debunked. As soon as FReepers became aware of his non-citizen lineage, FReepers began discussing his failure to qualify for POTUS. That's a fact. FReepers are largely Constitutional conservatives. We care about these things. The growth of birther'ism as the word spreads has been dramatic.

What I find most interesting is that you would sign up in January of 2011, claiming today that something was not posted and discussed back in 2008. How would you know? Where were you in 2008? Did you do an exhaustive search of the post histories? Or did you sign up just to troll?

Just because your head was not in the game doesn't make your statement true.

This blew up in June, 2008 with the release of Obama's first bogus birth document, but the early inquireies were in March, 2008.

Many of us were curious about Obama's origins before that.

You comment is absurd.
