Remember when we were kids, and "landscaping" was a mowed yard with a couple of bushes and a few pansies, and in the back was a vegetable garden that mom and dad tended? No big deal. Now I know people to pay tens of thousands of dollars to create a landscape and hire all kinds of obviously illegal help to get the job done.

Conspicuous consumption means a lot of lawbreaking. If we'd keep our standards of landscape beauty in perspective and refuse to skirt the law our communities would be a lot safer. With all that fancy masonry and shrubbery comes a lot of crime--like all the fatal DUI hit and runs and other crime, a lot violent and sexual in nature, that start popping up whenever the population of illegals gets above 10%

And a lot of those people who watch HGTV and hire illegals are Republican women, sad to say. I know a few. Time to be proud of crabgrass and repecting the law.

Same thing with RINOs, especially if they are people of means. Nannies, cooks, two maids, a yard guy. It's like being Scarlett O'Hara before Sumpter.

Don't expect the RINOS to tell wifey no more Manuela, unless we make it impossible for them to do otherwise.
