People who are in charge of private property can authoritatively ask some one to leave. It is the essence of private property. If you cannot ask people to leave, it is not private anymore.
Wisconsin just passed a significant weapons reform bill, SB93. I expect that Governor Walker will sign it Friday the 8th of July. It clarifies much of the law and is a large step toward Constitutional carry.
Agree with that one. More than once I have given the "wtf?" eye to someone talking away to no one like a street crazy before noticing it in their ear.
Hayward, California?...Where did this occur?
Yup, That boy is downright squirrely.
Comments:
1/ Are you really aware of your surroundings when yammering away on your cellphone?
2/ If you opt for open carry, are you using a level 2 or level 3 holster? Have you practiced weapon retention?
3/ Why did we have to wait until comment #13 to find out what state this occurred in? The poster could have easily used brackets - [ ] to tell us where it took place.
>>...Open carry is a tactical mistake. The bad guys will take you out first....<<
Yep. And unless open-carry was *quite* common for the area, I wouldn’t go openly-carrying into any store whose staff wasn’t well acquainted with me. It’s not a right/wrong issue — it’s a common-courtesy issue because non-gun folks get nervous and can make stupidly poor, rash decisions in otherwise benign situations.
Wisconsin is indicated in both the keywords and in the first comment.
My comment: Why did we have to wait until comment #13 to find out what state this occurred in? The poster could have easily used brackets - [ ] to tell us where it took place.
Your answers:
1/ Wisconsin is indicated in both the keywords ... Where? Here?
>> KEYWORDS: banglist; hayward; opencarry; wi;
2/ ... and in the first comment. Yeah, sorta - if you dig for it.
>> Quite a difference between the way police acted in Hayward and the way they acted in Madison a few months ago.
It looks like normalization and lawsuits are working. Of course, the new, reformed weapons law in Wisconsin is expected to be signed by Governor Walker in a week.
It would have been much easier to use brackets in the title, or to directly state where it occurred in the first comment.
