Perhaps you should make the case for why you feel the same reasoning should apply to Rick Santorum's endorsement of Arlen Spector. Either loyalty is a legitimate excuse for supporting a RINO against a conservative in a primary or it isn't. I don't see any difference between Santorum's support for Spector and Palin's for McCain.
