Y2K is coming
We worked so hard storing up stuff before Y2K, a bunch of stuff, including supplies. - Then we ate off the stored food for two years when work slowed down. - Then I remembered when I was a kid; and we ate beans and potatoes just about every day, didn’t buy toilet paper (there was the Sears & Roebuck catalog in the outhouse), nor paper napkins, nor paper towels; used cloth towels and handkerchiefs instead of Kleenex.
So, now I’ve simplified our storage and am mostly eliminating the luxury items for the most part. Oh, I’ve graduated to lentils and the like for variety since I got more educated in nutrition. If we SIMPLIFY, it’ll be easier and cheaper, and we still won’t starve.
