Major Garrett: Obama 'Bordering on Panic,' 'Dangerously Close' to Losing Connection With Americans

...as it stands right now, Obama’s failing to connect and Garrett cited his so-called Twitter town hall meeting as an attempt almost in desperation to resurrect the messaging success the president in his prior election. “[I]f people aren’t listening to you on that core message, it doesn’t matter what you say anymore,” he said.

I never liked anything Mr. Obama said.

He got elected because a lot of white people felt guilty, and John McCain was a rotten candidate who ran his own campaign.

Mr. Obama needs to be gone from office as soon as the law allows.

He’s fool. And a socialist one at that.

I think some are now seeing the potential this guy is ready to blow, big time (mentally). A few more pings on him, say with this budget deal, a direct question about the gun running project, a probitious question about his citizenship status...anything....may just topple him over the edge especially if he is not ready for it or if the teleprompter short circuits.

I can hear the ball bearings rubbing in his pockets now.

Since he took office, Obama has been on more news programs than McCain has visited the Sunday morning talk programs.

And just like commercials we hear over and over, same o same o, few listen to either of them.

In the last few weeks, we've seen the following:

1. Trial balloons about Biden being replaced on the ticket.

2. Several puff pieces about Hillary Clinton in the MSM

3. After several months of near silence, Bill Clinton has once again emerged..shooting his mouth off about everything and anything..

Coincidence? I don't think so..be interesting to watch as his poill # continue to implode..

"We need some stalwart jack russel media types to dog his heels. Alas, there are none."

There are so many prize-winning items to be reported on Obama. So many "journalists" who could make enormous names for themselves, surpassing Woodward and Burnstein (sp?).

If and only if our press wasn't totally corrupt.

But all it will take is one to break from the pack... perhaps Major Garrett is he.

Major's married to a news babe isn't he?

Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...

She won’t challenge him openly..because the black vote would stay home..and then there is NO way any Dem could win..NO..if his poll numbers continue to tank, possibly some Dems leaders, if the CBC concurs would go to Obama and suggest that he not run again...this would have to be handled very carefully, and give the Dems plenty of time to make sure the black vote stays engaged. I think the window for this to happen is about next February...

Obama is a pressure cooker, and the heat is rising.

Regards the plethora of exposable actions, there has not been such a rich source of material for a long time. Indeed, it is the propaganda arm of the DNC (LSM) acting as the very lid on the cooker.

One more of my favorites...

GOVERNMENT ARROGANCE IS OUT OF CONTROL!

Sooner or later, it will have to be the American people themselves
that decide to put a stop to this out-of-control government
arrogance. Perhaps the sentiments of the late Lyn Nofziger will be
helpful at this point.

You will recall that Mr. Nofziger served as press secretary in Ronald
Reagan’s administration as Governor of California and as a White
House advisor during the Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan
presidencies. Shortly before he passed away, he composed a short
treatise entitled “These Things I Believe.” Here it is:

These things I believe:

That government should butt out.
That freedom is our most precious commodity and if we are not eternally vigilant, government will take it all away.
That individual freedom demands individual responsibility.
That government is not a necessary good but an unavoidable evil.
That the executive branch has grown too strong, the judicial branch too arrogant and the legislative branch too stupid.
That political parties have become close to meaningless.
That government should work to insure the rights of the individual, not plot to take them away.
That government should provide for the national defense and work to insure domestic tranquillity.
That foreign trade should be fair rather than free.
That America should be wary of foreign entanglements.
That the tree of liberty needs to be watered from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That guns do more than protect us from criminals; more importantly, they protect us from the ongoing threat of government.
That states are the bulwark of our freedom.
That states should have the right to secede from the Union.
That once a year we should hang someone in government as an example to his fellows.
Ref

This is what you get when the resume of the President consists of being a professional c- student, a community agitator, and a US Senator for 142 days where you never did anything but vote “present”. Of course we have to give him a pass on the Senator thing because it takes absolutely no skill at all to be a Senator.

John McCain was a rotten candidate who ran his own campaign.

Other than being a career Washington politician, McCain's biggest problem was he believed the press actually liked him. He was little more than a weapon the press used against W in the primaries.

I had to reread your comment because I knew a media type just like that, back in the day, and his name actually was Jack Russell.

He was a die-hard Democrat, but not of the kind we see today, and he didn't give a rip what letter was behind the name of a politician - if they did wrong he was all over them like white on rice. He was a true journalist who did not let his own politics get in the way of telling the truth.

There is a LOT to be said for making one’s public appearances brief and rare when one is a leader. Once a leader over-exposes themselves, they become part of the noise of everyday life... and situation of “Oh, YOU again? Jeez, will you never STFU? Why are you on my TV AGAIN?!”

When we were kids, remember how “important” it was when the POTUS would come on the TV?

You may be right. But it will have to be the press that takes him down. No body in his party will confront him and he is not going to go quietly into the night.

I firmly believe he is on some serious psychotropics and will either end up having a nervous breakdown or an overdose.
