...as it stands right now, Obamas failing to connect and Garrett cited his so-called Twitter town hall meeting as an attempt almost in desperation to resurrect the messaging success the president in his prior election. [I]f people arent listening to you on that core message, it doesnt matter what you say anymore, he said.

Just words. Just speeches...
Sounds like Major Disaster.
YEAH ,But the Rodent still has connection with Commies and Traitors!
That guy’s NEVER going to make Lt. Colonel, is he?
Actually, I don’t really consider anyone that supports this cretin as an American.
Get out now and go to the third world country of your choice, idiots.
I never liked anything Mr. Obama said.
He got elected because a lot of white people felt guilty, and John McCain was a rotten candidate who ran his own campaign.
Mr. Obama needs to be gone from office as soon as the law allows.
He’s fool. And a socialist one at that.
need to send him a bowl of strawberries.
He never had a connection to this American, he doesn’t even speak the same language!
I think some are now seeing the potential this guy is ready to blow, big time (mentally). A few more pings on him, say with this budget deal, a direct question about the gun running project, a probitious question about his citizenship status...anything....may just topple him over the edge especially if he is not ready for it or if the teleprompter short circuits.
I can hear the ball bearings rubbing in his pockets now.
Hey Obozo! Show me your final four picks! idiot...
“Obama:...Dangerously Close’ to Losing Connection With Americans...”
Pffffft! That ship sailed YEARS ago!!
Boy King has no idea what or who an American is...nor does he care.
I was surprised that he didn’t need a TELEPROMPTER to TWEET.
Rumor is he had a fling-ding with one of the Joint-Chief's daughters.
We need some stalwart jack russel media types to dog his heels. Alas, there are none.
Since he took office, Obama has been on more news programs than McCain has visited the Sunday morning talk programs.
And just like commercials we hear over and over, same o same o, few listen to either of them.
1. Trial balloons about Biden being replaced on the ticket.
2. Several puff pieces about Hillary Clinton in the MSM
3. After several months of near silence, Bill Clinton has once again emerged..shooting his mouth off about everything and anything..
Coincidence? I don't think so..be interesting to watch as his poill # continue to implode..
Just doing what Sarah Palin has been doing for 2 years, they guy has never had an original idea of his own. I guess it makes it easier to blame someone else for your failures.........
Very good observations.
>>Major Garrett: Obama ‘Bordering on Panic,’ ‘Dangerously Close’ to Losing Connection With Americans<<
Based on the title, I can only assume this article is about two years old. Urkel crossed that line quite a while ago.
The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. (via ~ GUNNY G: BLOGGER 1984 (+)
There are so many prize-winning items to be reported on Obama. So many "journalists" who could make enormous names for themselves, surpassing Woodward and Burnstein (sp?).
If and only if our press wasn't totally corrupt.
But all it will take is one to break from the pack... perhaps Major Garrett is he.
Major's married to a news babe isn't he?
Now THAT is one of the most accurate statements ever posted on this subject in this forum EVER.
If Hillary were to win a primary challange, would Soros run Obama as an Independent?
Hey, a guy can dream, can't he?
Ah, the King of the no-reply pimpers returns! I love it that I can say whatever I want to this idiot and he’ll never respond. Jesse Watters, indeed!
need to send him a bowl of strawberries.Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers...
She won’t challenge him openly..because the black vote would stay home..and then there is NO way any Dem could win..NO..if his poll numbers continue to tank, possibly some Dems leaders, if the CBC concurs would go to Obama and suggest that he not run again...this would have to be handled very carefully, and give the Dems plenty of time to make sure the black vote stays engaged. I think the window for this to happen is about next February...
Regards the plethora of exposable actions, there has not been such a rich source of material for a long time. Indeed, it is the propaganda arm of the DNC (LSM) acting as the very lid on the cooker.
I thought 0b0z0 announced to run in’12.
Memo to Major........he NEVER was connected to the American people!!!
When do we set up the guillotines?
>>> Major Garret: “.... dangerously close to losing that connection with the American people on what he knows about the economy and what he can predict about the economy.”
SINCE WHEN did Obama know anything about the economy, let alone ‘predict it’?
The guy is NOT even qualified to run a lemonade stand.
One more of my favorites...
GOVERNMENT ARROGANCE IS OUT OF CONTROL!
Sooner or later, it will have to be the American people themselves
that decide to put a stop to this out-of-control government
arrogance. Perhaps the sentiments of the late Lyn Nofziger will be
helpful at this point.
You will recall that Mr. Nofziger served as press secretary in Ronald
Reagan’s administration as Governor of California and as a White
House advisor during the Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan
presidencies. Shortly before he passed away, he composed a short
treatise entitled “These Things I Believe.” Here it is:
These things I believe:
That government should butt out.
That freedom is our most precious commodity and if we are not eternally vigilant, government will take it all away.
That individual freedom demands individual responsibility.
That government is not a necessary good but an unavoidable evil.
That the executive branch has grown too strong, the judicial branch too arrogant and the legislative branch too stupid.
That political parties have become close to meaningless.
That government should work to insure the rights of the individual, not plot to take them away.
That government should provide for the national defense and work to insure domestic tranquillity.
That foreign trade should be fair rather than free.
That America should be wary of foreign entanglements.
That the tree of liberty needs to be watered from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That guns do more than protect us from criminals; more importantly, they protect us from the ongoing threat of government.
That states are the bulwark of our freedom.
That states should have the right to secede from the Union.
That once a year we should hang someone in government as an example to his fellows.

This is what you get when the resume of the President consists of being a professional c- student, a community agitator, and a US Senator for 142 days where you never did anything but vote “present”. Of course we have to give him a pass on the Senator thing because it takes absolutely no skill at all to be a Senator.
Like saying I’m dangerously close to being a few pounds overweight....
Other than being a career Washington politician, McCain's biggest problem was he believed the press actually liked him. He was little more than a weapon the press used against W in the primaries.
I had to reread your comment because I knew a media type just like that, back in the day, and his name actually was Jack Russell.
He was a die-hard Democrat, but not of the kind we see today, and he didn't give a rip what letter was behind the name of a politician - if they did wrong he was all over them like white on rice. He was a true journalist who did not let his own politics get in the way of telling the truth.
I had a great-uncle who was named Captain General Hicks.
He was drafted into the Army as a Private of course.
Needless to say, there was some confusion.
The original purpose of "the press", and a contributing force behind the first amendment.
In the end I think that the Fast and Furious thing will take him down.
There is a LOT to be said for making one’s public appearances brief and rare when one is a leader. Once a leader over-exposes themselves, they become part of the noise of everyday life... and situation of “Oh, YOU again? Jeez, will you never STFU? Why are you on my TV AGAIN?!”
When we were kids, remember how “important” it was when the POTUS would come on the TV?
I firmly believe he is on some serious psychotropics and will either end up having a nervous breakdown or an overdose.
At least he didn’t end up like Major Major Major Major.
“We need some stalwart jack russel media types to dog his heels. Alas, there are none.”
We need some stalwart jack russel type to go after reporters and ask them why are they covering for this idiot.
I agree. Some days he does not even know what year it is. I will vote for #1 & #2
