Amazing how the Democratic majority Senate hasn’t passed a budget in over two years. Wait a minute, they haven’t even presented one.Huh?? The Senate shouldn't have presented one.
Under the Constitution, budgets don't originate in the Senate. Creating them is the responsibility of the House.
Not sure if I have this right but, the house passed the “Ryan budget” this year. The senate either didn’t take it up or defeated it. So, now its up to the senate to draft a budget and it goes to conference. I think, but I could be wrong.
