So would I, if I had the money. The problem is, in these bankrupted countries, nobody has any money and are reduced to selling for peanuts (if they can even find a buyer) whatever they have or whatever they can make. They do it and hope to make enough simply to eat and stay alive.
We had a son return from Moldova (where this picture was taken) and he brought back some of the strangest, crudest things people had desperately made trying to make whatever they could get. Almost nobody had much of anything. If you wanted to use a public rest room you had to bring your own toilet paper, if you could even find any. The entire country is broke (thanks, Communism!). Many Moldovan women are lured into other countries with promises of menial jobs and end up enslaved in the sex trades where they disappear and eventually die.
I fear this is where we are headed unless we get our act straightened out and fast!
I may not have much, but I have more than many.
