Back when I was a teenager, as in still in high school, Class of '69, I lived in the suburbs of Chicago. On the weekends, I would hop the Burlington and ride into the Loop for $1.50, round trip. I could stay with my grandmother, at Belmont and Pulaski.

I would spend all my time, however, in Old Town. This was Hippie Central, in Chicago, at Wells and North Ave. Piper's Alley, head shops, Second City, where John Belushi would be, stretched Pepsi bottles, lava lamps, black lights, incense, the collecting point for every flavor of hippie, pot head, acid dealer and Leftist political activist, from the entire Midwest. They all gathered there, 10 in an apartment, until enough could put together the wherewithall to head for Haight Ashbury.

There and then, I learned the Great Secret of Life. If you agreed with a girl's politics, you got "Lucky."

50 years, and I see things haven't changed. Leftist women are still stupid.

I'm not a great actor...most of the women I've met who spouted lefty nonsense...well...I couldnt pretend to be attracted to them long enough to get them into a bed!
