Yes, I always wondered what happened to the cedar after it left the mill but now I know. It is too bad that somehow we all let the greenies kill of many thousands of jobs in this country.

I worked at another lumber mill in this area for 35 years and when the cedar mill went down we knew our days were numbered. It took a few years but eventually we went down also. That mill had 600 men and women working with good wages, good insurance and a good pension also and there has been nothing to replace it except a mall and some fast food restaurants. In fact in this county since the mills went down, all the car dealers have gone out of business except for two used car dealers.
