Also, DUmmies, here's a clue to why your precious Vanilla Wafers are rising in price: No Chance of Default, US Can Print Money: Greenspan
Where the heck are some of these people shopping?? See, if they didn’t hate Walmart so much, maybe they could afford their groceries. $2.98 for Nilla Wafers there, and I’m sure the Great Value ones are way cheaper. I absolutely love Mallomars, but I’m not paying $3 to $4 a box. The great value ones are better, IMO, and only like $2. They are so stupid.
They are consistent in their inconsistencies. :)
PJ’s da man!
You can get Aldi’s brand Vanilla Wafers for $1.49.
BTW, Tucker at Conservative Cave correctly pointed out Unions and the high cost of foods. Don’t complain if you support Unions, just pay up and shut up!
...and how on EARTH did you *do* it?
Cheers!
DUmmies are obsessed with (talking about) rioting. Similar comments appear often on DU threads.
Bow, lesser posters.
Johnny Frazier, is that you?
What!? And shop at an eeevil non-union business?
I’m waiting for a coupon for a coupon service.
BTTT
“How long are prices going to go up?”
As long as you want to increase taxes on those evil corporations, therefore driving their costs up. Plus as long as you want to increase taxes on the oil companies that make the fuel to deliver the groceries to your neighborhood.....
Idiot complainers.
HOly carp! Where did you get that?
This was hilarious!
I’m surprised this DUmmie didn’t even consider store brands/off brands of the wafers or cereal...esp. since he/she is presumably against the “big, evil corporations”? And RE: expensive produce—at this time of year there is plenty of selection at all different prices.
I’m not a super-couponer by any means, but with very little effort at all, buying stuff on sale and using both coupons from the paper and that I printed from the Internet, saved $40+ and spent about the same at Walgreens...and stocked up on enough razors and “girl” supplies to last 6 months to a year.
Where do you find coupons for meat and produce? Thankfully I don’t have to buy much meat (my husband raises cattle) but would be nice to have the coupons for produce.
Also had to LOL at the fact that “real” meat would cost a lot less than soy-burgers...and provide a lot more nutrition as well.
Thanks for the laughs!
Psst! Check out the concept of mm. Even on "Extreme Couponing" they touched on that but didn't linger long.
